I'm finishing up another doggie this week, and then next up is a little cockatiel girl, which I already have permission to post here.

This cockatiel is named "Ducky" because she loves to bathe.
Her parront wanted her portrayed with the rubber version, which I think was a perfectly precious idea.

The parront says she's gonna hang it in the screened-in porch, near where Ducky showers and bathes and splashes, so I'm gonna have to varnish it, front, back and all sides. Hey, the customer is always right!

This is Caruso. I'm told he's quite the singer, and the customer wanted him portrayed as such. He is a Waterslager, one of the oldest types of canary, bred for song, not size, shape, or color. Here's a sample (this isn't Caruso, but it gives an idea of how he sounds). Waterslagers are famous for their "water notes", or bubbling water-like sounds. I think it's fabulous.
The bird is in a performance or show cage.
