Now that is a play cage!

Kiwi checking out the kid's new digs and the Kid; checking out the Bird that always seems to get the higher places to hangout on!?!? Lucky Bird!

Kiwi has to be noting just how fast Cas is growing!

Love the photo updates dear friend!

I ended up putting Kiwis play tree right next to Cas’ playpen. It’s like a match made in heaven.

Kiwi is loving his new little buddy and I’m pretty sure the feeling is mutual.

The boys assisting with a car repair. Don’t worry, we were not driving anywhere, so I didn’t have Cas buckled all the way into his seat, just enough to keep him from squirming out.

He is definitely wanting to be closer to him now. He climbs down the side of his cage to watch him play.

Just an update- were all good here. Life has been busy with Cas now super mobile and Kiwi being Kiwi. Today we all ran some errands together. Kiwi enjoys sitting on top of the car getting a Birdseye view while I load/unload everything (he of course rides inside while moving).

And just for fun, a nice recent pic of me and Cas. He’s a BIG boy (just turned 7 months). He’s been crawling since he was around 5 1/2 months and is now trying to stand up. He keeps me busy all.day.long chasing him lol. I finally had to retire my mustang after 11 years (didn’t get rid of it but no longer my every day car) and finally caved and got a mom mobile:rolleyes:

I hope he gives me a little longer before he’s walking, but I don’t think he plans to do that. He’s going to be running circles around me in no time:34:

Oh my gosh April! Cas is soooo cute! and BIG!

I'm curious...has The Sir shown any interest on perching on Cas?

What a wonderful update, and great way to start the weekend! Thank you! Looks like your two boys are going to be life long friends. Great photo of you two, and Cas gets more adorable every time we get to see him :)

He is a very big boy (actually, they both are lol). We are still keeping them separated. Cas likes to explore by grabbing and whacking, neither of which are actions compatible with friendly interactions with :green: Kiwi has shown absolutely no aggression towards Cas and is very curious about him.

For those who can see videos, here are the boys conspiring against me. For those who can’t see the video, Kiwi has hulked the small door off his cage and flung it down for Cas to play with. He also throws toys to the floor deliberately fo Cas now. I’ve had to remove all toys small enough to be swallowed by the baby.

Just an update on the boys. Cas turned 1 last month and has just started walking. I guess I’ll be loosing any of the lingering baby weight now 😂

ewxvjud.jpg

He’s grown so much!

vjR8voz.jpg

Made him this vegan blueberry cake

WRDxl53.jpg

Only took a several minutes long video of him eating his cake but here he is right before

Joe decided to “introduce” the boys. It went about as expected and we won’t be trying that again for a while. Kiwi was an excellent boy and did not nip or freak when Cas tried to grab him. We were both right there to prevent any kind of major incident:

I know not all of you can see videos, but this is our solution to keeping Kiwi safely out of reach of Cas and just a nice one of Kiwi giving a rare whistle on camera🤗

Love the photos and really love the boys in the photos!

Cas is going to be tall. Hey, is it just surprising just how many steps one can get in a small condo when the boys are busy!!! :D

Your guys are charmers and the girls might just as well give-up any hope of resisting either of them...

May the joy just continue to flow good friend!

FYI: Mom Vans are truly great for all the 'stuff' they can hold. Vintage Mustangs have their limitations in that regard! Love the way the guys are placed, they always have each other insight!

RIP Gandalf and Big Bird, you are missed.
Terrific update, Happy Birthday Cas!!

He seems such a happy boy and I'll bet Kiwi accepts him as a smaller human!

Note to all regarding April's video: For some reason it does not appear in body of post, simply "quote" the copy/paste the .mp4 link and open in new browser.
