Hi,

I'm new to the forum, and a first time bird owner. I have 2 dogs, a rabbit, a cat and a tank of tropical fish. My other half's aunt and uncle hand rare parrots of all kinds for lots of people, and they themselves have 9, consisting of 3 african greys, 2 amazons, 2 australian eclectus, and 2 conures, along with loads of parakeets, budgies, and a few im unsure of what they are lol. anyway, after spending quite a bit of time around these bueatiful birds, i decided i really wanted one for our family home (consisting mainly of animals) so we searched around for about a month, without little joy (mainly as we wanted a new born, and the parrot trade is pretty quiet in NI at present), but finally got lucky with this little beauty, out of a group of 3. he was hand rared up to approx 8 weeks, and is being finished off my my partners aunt and uncle. he is beginning to fly well, and making loads of little noises, and is learning to socialise well with other birds, except the african greys as they are very nippy little buggers lol. anyway, if you have managed to read this far, i have included a few pics for you to see. we could not agree on a name for quite some time, but one we both seemed pretty happy with was coco.. so this is little coco! :) I would appreciate any opinions, and tips on taking great care of this little one, although i have had lots of great advice already :)

thanks!
