Chasca - Hahns Macaw
So I am the upcoming birbmom of a Hahns Macaw, gender is unknown at current (hoping boy but wont complain either way).

I was hoping you all would share some two cents on names and help me narrow it down. I was hoping for a south american name from mythology or something of a similar namesake.

Itzli, Ixcel, Quetz, Aztec, Maya, Inca, Chas, Dorado, Tech (HA), Monte/Zuma, Anasazi... I have lots of ideas.

I'd like to stay away from anything too "normal" or Greek/Roman mythology if possible. If I had a sun conure- maybe (Apollo/Icarus anyone?) but for a Hahns I'm just not feeling it.

Other names I've considered are Echo, Gumi (Vocaloid/Candy both. Yes.) Luci (after a friend), and Eden (also).

What names do like from South America or green counterparts? Have some fun with it. :) :green:

Godchecker is my friend.

Colo is nice- a basilisk born from a chicken egg, Chia is literally the goddess of debauchery (itzli is sacrifice lol), and Anatina flooded the world trying to kill everyone. Perhaps not the best of name choices. I'd rather my birb not try to kill me. xD

Paco, a nice Mexican name

Gringo, a not nice Mexican name

Loro = Parrot in spanish

águila = Eagle

Those are neat. I'm surprised my significant whats-it hasn't suggested those seeing as he's latino.

Then again this is the man who suggests BB-Bird or Boosie being the appropriate name and wants to teach it ghetto slang. ((//sighs))

(I laughed at Gringo because of him)

Hey teknogeddon. I tried sending message to you but it wouldn't let me. But, yeah, I got my Hahn macaw from bright wood aviary. It took 4 days for my deposit to get to her. Just give her a call and let her know you sent a deposit for a Hahn macaw and she will let you know when she gets your deposit. I usually stayed in contact about two times a week to check on how my baby was doing and to get different pictures of him. I hope this helps.
