Need advice ! I have 2 GCC 2years and 3 years old!

My question is why does my male conure just want all the attention? It seems as if he forgot about his mate. He is very friendly and she keeps to her self. They where my sisters birds but she had to rehome them. Will he eventually get closer to the girl bird. They sleep in the hut together at night. But during the day they are on separate perches. When he approaches her at the food bowl she gets out the way. Also she kept them in breeders cage with no toys. I changed that . Bought them a new cage and tons of toys. I think they are afraid of the toys. They where also kept outside they are now inside birds.Any advice.

There's just no predicting them... whok they like/love/hate/whatever.
I think you're doing a great job of letting them be THEM.
You sound like a really great parront.
I would say just keep learning/improving diet, environment, etc.
Time's on your side.

Well, I got my gcc & 5-6 months later I rescued a sun conure. They're about a yr apart in age but I'm thinking my gcc is more dominant because I had him first. They are both male.
How long have you had them? Maybe it's happening because of the new cage, toys, and being inside. New environment. Give them time to acclimate & they'll be fine.
