I was reading in a book about grey's and it was suggested to put a quiet box or nest type box in the cage up high so the bird can have some private quiet time and for sleeping if they choose to. The suggested size was 7x12 made out of 3/4 inch plywood.

I currently have a small cloth happy hut in with my GCC and be likes it.

What is everyone's thought on this for the CAG?

I do not recommend a nest box. It would be better to offer a Happy hut or even a blanket over one corner of the cage. Providing dark closed in areas will inspire hormonal activity.
