I need new cages and here are two I am looking at. I would love to hear the opinion of others.

The one with the play ground on top has inside dimensions of 40 x 30 x 47

The one that has the opening at the top but no playground is: 40 x 32 x 62

The one without the playground is about $200 more than the one with the playground. I need the cages for my U2 and my CAG. Both cages are made by A&E.

Thanks for any help you can offer!

I'm no expert but don't like play pens on top of cage. If your bird is older it's probably fine but younger birds can get aggressive, slowly however surely! It doesn't have to be play top it can be the top of the cage! I have a Rose Breasted and notice it when he is on top of his cage which I try to prevent. I think when birds are higher than eye level it can be problem. All birds are different but this is my experience. I have Kings aluminum red trim cage and love it. Light weight, great for Rose Breasted. Just ordered a new Animal Environment cage for my new Palm Cockatoo. My Palm is due sometime in early May and cage will be shipped April 15, 2013. So excited!

I love the second one. Great choice! I have one similar by HQ, starter cage and really miss the opening door near top of cage! My Kings cage with dome top doesn't have that opening door and I miss it a lot!

My friend just bought the A&E 40"x32" victorian top cage last week for his B&G macaw. Model GC6-4032.

SWEET cage!!!!!

The Veranda door above the main door is really nice and his B&G loves to come out that opening and just hang out.

I've bought cages from Avian Emporium in past. Fast shipping and cartons came VERY well wrapped for shippping.

Good Luck!

I talked to our AV today and she really liked the victorian cage as well. Looks like that is the winner, and I was leaning towards it anyway.

Since my guys have play stands when they are not in the bird room, the playpen on top wasn't as big of a deal. My Boss at work has this cage for her CAG and I just loved hers when I saw it.

Thanks!
