Heheh, the Nashua area is temperate as compared to the Monadnock area where I live ;)

Mosquitoes aren't too bad here during the day, but I would make a bubble shell around the Aviary out of mosquito netting. I plan on making a clearing around the structure which I can spray a barrier for ticks. I was already planning to plant a lot of natural pest deterring plants in my Greenhouse too. It sounds to me like I should do the best I can and spend a lot of time with her this year and see how it goes. I'll think more about leaving her alone next spring.

I was just thinking that I would be a nervous wreck for the first bit. Maybe a security cam pointed at the aviary so you could peek in on him.
