Welcome to the forum, and thank you for saving this poor angel! I have worked in Animal Welfare & Rescue, and have known animals that people have set on fire. What a horrible thing to do! I cannot imagine how someone can even think of doing that. There are a lot of Macaw guardians here, so, search our Macaw section for lots of useful information. And, again, bless you for helping this baby.

OMG

That is so sad, who could do these things!
Thank you for saving this baby, I'm sure some Macaw owners will be along soon.
Just keep doing what your doing, building trust and establishing bond is definately the right direction.

Bill, this happens often? grrrrrrrr
