After a long two years of college, I am finally done! for now atleast..
I studied Ornithology, Psittaculture, licensed avian husbandry, and I am a certified avian specialist.
Now I'm going to take another four years to become board certified.. then I will take a masters in Avian Biology. my ultimate goal is a doctorates in Avian Medicine.
Now i'm starting a noninvasive minor injury treatment program out of my guest house.
I'll be providing 24/7 emergency care for shock, blood feathers, small injuries, and I will be providing heal-x treatment plans.
Also, feather clippings, nails, diet assessment, and cage assessments.
and of course, my clients will have to sign a treatment plan allowing me to take any bird to the vet if needed.
I also want an adoption center for rescued bird rehabilitation and of course my breeding area.
and I plan on having a bird boarding area for people on vacations etc. (we have a lot of slope workers here who work two weeks in a village and two off)
Tomorrow I'm buying a commercial fridge for avian foods, healx which will come in 20ml tester containers, bird treats, etc
I'm still working on a business name.. I'm thinking "Wings and Beaks: noninvasive treatment and care plans for Avian friends"
I also plan on providing discounts to anybody that goes to my seminars on how to handle a bird, bird no-nos, and myths. oh, and I'll be providing dna sex testing
