Parrot teddy for parrot training?

Hi all,

I was contemplating getting a teddy parrot (or something) to train my parrot.
But don't know if this is a good idea or not (Jealousy or something).
What are thoughts on this?
Good/bad idea?

We actually have a big faux B&G we used for certain 'training' exercises with Kiwi. Some days he loves his friend, others he wants to eat it. Either way, it was never a terribly helpful training tool because a faux bird can't really 'do' the action you ask and a real bird isn't that dumb not to see you moving the fake bird around. My husband on the other hand, was very helpful for training Kiwi. Such a patient may to try to act like a bird and get a reward for it so Kiwi could learn lololol
