Please helpI noticed today that my budgie is pooping yellow droppings I'm concerned as this is the first time I see this in any of my budgies.

Unfortunately Avian vets is not an option for birds in Egypt no vet I visited was specialized in birds they only treat cats and dogs. I will attach two photos of the droppings.

Yellow droppings can be a sign of something serious like liver failure but they could also be caused by diet. If your budgie eats food with yellow dyes or naturally yellow foods like corn, squash, or pumpkin, it can turn their droppings yellow. If the problem goes away in a day or two, it was probably caused by yellow or orange food. If the problem persists it could signal something more serious. I hope your bird is ok ❤️

thank you for answering my questions. he didn't eat yellow or orange food. I feed him yellow sweet pepper two days ago but the dropping was just hours ago. could this be psittacosis.
