Prayers for the victims of the Israel and Palestine war.

No one has mentioned this in the forums yet but I think it has to be mentioned, Palestinians are dying every day, losing their loved ones, getting banned electricity and water and food, and many basic necessities for just a a holy piece of land, this has been going on for decades yet world leaders are choosing to ignore this, ignore many innocent lives taken, and social media why is it a problem when Israelis get killed, but not a problem when Palestinians get killed?
Here is a prayer for those lives who have been taken and futures that have been taken.

O God of life and love and peace,
We witness the violence and injustice in your Holy Land
And our hearts break.
Our hearts break for the people of Israel—
For the victims of violent attacks by Hamas
For those who live with fear and insecurity
For those who suffer from the inter-generational trauma of violence.
Our hearts break for Palestinians—
For the victims of violent attacks by the Israeli military
For those being denied water, electricity and medical care
For those who are refugees, long displaced from their homes.
We especially pray—
That weapons of war be laid down
That walls of separation be dismantled
That prisoners be released
That demonizing of “the other” cease
That political leaders seek the good of all people in Palestine and Israel.
O God, whose heart breaks for the world,
May your justice dwell in the land
May your righteousness abide in fruitful fields
May the effect of righteousness be quietness and trust forever
May the effect of justice be peace—enduring peace.

May god put all of them in heaven..
The poor, innocent children getting killed is something so brutal and sad to see. And the fact that israel had blown up a HOSPITAL of all places.. As a Muslim myself, I wish I could help them in any way

It's definitely horrendous what's going on over there right now. I'm sad every day for the innocent people and children that are dying. I'm glad someone is bringing some awareness.

The whole situation is heartbreaking, and it kills me that so many innocent men, women, and children are being killed every day. Thanks for posting-- I totally agree with you that this needs to be acknowledged and talked about more.

It really is so heartbreaking to see what is going on over there… I saw a clip recently where these two parents were shielding their child while bombs were going off, if I remember correctly. The cries of terror from the child and the parents trying to hide their fear for their kid’s sake was so heartbreaking and sad. That was what alerted me to this war in the first place… So many innocent lives are being lost…
