I once captured an escaped Lovebird by putting my Lovebird in his cage outside.
The escaped one came to the cage and I got it with a net (doesnt like hands)...
I gave it to my friend and it's doing great. Still doesn't like hands though...

Awww Parsley is sooo cute!!!!! How old is he? My senegal is 1 and a half. Aren't they great little guys? I love the sounds they make. They have such a talent to mimick things its entertaing. lol

My sennie hatched in 1999. Their life expectancy is 25 - 30 years in captivity (where they're spared from the predators, disappearing habitat, etc. of the wild.)

Meghan.....my Senegal is 1 and 1/2 years old also. I got him when he was about 6 months old.

It was fun to watch his eye color change from the gray to the yellow. He has such an intense "Eagle stare" sometimes it feels like he can see into your thoughts!
