Singin' In The Rain!

Now you may not be able to hear him very well above the roar of the rain on our tin roof, but this is Val the budgie singing his little heart out during a recent downpour. It has been so very dry here in Queensland this year, and in the last 3 days or so we have had more rain than in the preceding 6 months - hopefully it will put a damper on the terrible bushfires that have been ravaging our rural communities and landscapes recently.

Meanwhile here in BrisVegas, the harder it rains, the louder Val sings, God love him!

All the wild Budgies would be doing the exact same after this drought, he must be catching on

Val is such a happy little soul. He just sings and sings and sings all day long. In fact the only time he’s quiet is when he’s sneaking into Lilly’s cage to eat her food - mmmmmmm that sweet sweet powdered nectar!

Hope you got some rain up your way Noah, I know those fires have been too close for comfort!
