Do you ever notice your bird(s) waking up in the middle of the night periodically to eat or anything else? I have a cover over the cage to keep it nice and dark, leaving one side open so it doesn't get too stuffy (the side that's open faces a wall), and we also try and be as quiet as we can but I'll still hear the very subtle sound of her waking up and eating the millet that hangs near where she sleeps. This is a 7 week old lovebird, so still quite young, but I just am concerned if she's not getting enough continuous sleep.
Maybe it's not that uncommon for a bird to do that though? What's your experience with this?
