If enclosing your patio with bird netting DO NOT think you can buy a 5m x 5m piece for a 10m x 2.5m job. You CAN NOT cut it in half yourself to save money.

I repeat, you CAN NOT cut it yourself. :p

That is all.

On the bright side... I can now see how fantastic it will look and these sore fingers (from screwing in the many minute hooks) will be worth it!! My feather babies are going to go nuts :D they will have a huge 6m x 4m area to fly around... it has branches, a shallow pool, lots of toys and I am growing some bird friendly plants and some tubs of grass just for them :) Next is to purchase some bird friendly potted plants to make the area look even more like a great birdy playground.

The conures are not happy about having to be caged while I fix the patio LOL They have been "tweeting" all day long. Can you call it screaming when it is coming from a green cheek?

Oh darn, I just took the bit I had done down without taking a pic :/
I expect it will take three days for my netting to arrive and about an hour to put it up :D I promise I will have photos in a week!
