:green2:Hello fellow parronts! I am new to this forum. I have a rescued quaker, Zeno, approximately 3 years old, I'm told. I've had her for almost a year. She is still nippy, but she's getting used to me.
We live in a tiny studio apartment above a garage in western Colorado.
I watched her take her second real bath tonight in a corning ware baking dish (previously only bathed in her water dish, which was real entertaining, but she could only get her head in there).
I've been sprouting sunflower seeds and beans and other seeds for her. She prefers the sunflower sprouts.
I give her corn and peas and tiny pieces of jalepenos, which I microwave for a few seconds, then add some paprika. She also gets her pellets in a separate dish. She also loves strawberries and apples. But she is a real picky eater.
She says Hello, of course I'm probably the only one who recognizes this. She sings - well chirps - along with me when I sing simple little children's songs and accompany myself on my thumb piano. I appreciate this gesture of hers.
I'm not technologically savvy enough to do the avatar or post photos of her.
I'm looking forward to encouraging words and advice on this forum.
