Well, it's been 6 weeks. I have kept trying, and FINALLY Ringo took a tiny treat of muffin from my hand and didn't drop it. I immediately praised him softly and backed way. Now he is taking peanut bits (just one half of a half of a shelled single bean) from both my and my husband's fingers. Thanks for everyone telling me not to give up. I was just wondering after so long if he was never going to recover from his PTSD. I used half strength 'calming formula' from UnRuffled Rx in his water and that seems to have taken the sharp edge off his hysteria so he can focus better and learn. Been backing it off ever since. It is simply L-theanine and GABA, natural amino acids that support a calm mood without the drowsy effect. So, if anyone might need a little extra boost of calm, I'd give it a try. Can't do too many peanuts but we have had the breakthrough, so wanted to update you all!
