Superb Parrot

So I've finally discovered we have had a Superb Parrot off my aunty and infact she has had him for 11 years!

Now he is really aggressive in that he can take a seed from my hand theough the cage to doing an almost attack pose and mouth wide open, with darting snap moves with his head.

Now how do i approach this as it's frustrating as he was ok till last night were he threw a paddy at me

If you're looking for training material, Barbara Heidenreich (of 'Good Bird Inc') is very well respected. She has written books and has several DVD's...I've just purchased her Good Bird Into to Behaviour & Training dvd, and am very impressed with her approach to bird training. Might be worth looking into if it's in the budget-?

Although I don't often recommend them the Walmack bros have a good video on stick training I've described how to do this under training post called stick trick described but if you need to see it. just be prepared for the hundreds of e-mails to sell you other videos.
