The day-to-day destruction of the Birdy Kabob

I got the fids a yucca Birdy Kabob! 1 Original for Oliver who has yet to touch it, and one Original for Bella and Zora, who took an hour to attempt to demolish it. I will be posting the day-to-day destruction.

When I gave one of these to my budgies, Metzger (rip) and Meister it literally took them a couple hours to totally demolish it. It happened every time gave them one. The bigger ones lasted a day or two. They loved it. Meister doesn't play with them anymore, not since the passing of Metzger.

Well, obviously these are not macaws. LOL. Would take only minutes! Friends brought Sunny a nice wood toy awhile back, reasonably expensive, from Petsmart. It took eight minutes. I was so embarrassed!

Lol, they have no beak power. Even at their absolute maddest they have yet to draw any blood. But I don't think i would be able to handle such destructive birds. I'm used to toys lasting at least 2 days. They like swinging on it too, it's a bit bigger than them.

I might try these, I didn't think it would last very long which is why I never bought them.

You should try willow branch chews/balls. My conure obsessed over them!

Maxx loves those. He has gone through like 10 I think. I always have one in his cage.

Emmy looooooves bird kabobs.

Her favorite, though, are Popsicle sticks and wooden beads. She destroys anything with either of those in minutes.

I bought one while I still worked at PetsMart and Con wouldn't touch it but she loves anything with beads. She also had a brief fascination with a small pine and sisal toy that I bought 10 of after she went through 4 of them in 2 days. She won't touch them now so I have 10 of the toys sitting at the bottom of her toy box. Her current love are barrel beads from ca bird nerds. I have to order those in bulk and 20 minutes after I hang about 100 of them, they're all over the floor in pieces and she's begging for more.

LOL Bella and Zora go through toys really slowly. The shortest lifespan of a toy of theirs was two days. it was a really soft balsa wood toy.
