Well, there is a soft spot in my heart for the red lored amazons... (obviously!) sweet sensitive souls... and that one is certainly beautiful.

Yes, they are! I've never actually seen one before until volunteering here. Such delightful little birds!

THE PARROT THAT OWNS ME was written about a Red Lored Amazon.

I've had Sally for around 14 years... She doesn't let me leave the house without first preening my eyebrows and my eyelashes. She is a very special bird, and I got her from a rescue like this, where she started off life as one of the worst cage bound and phobic biters we had...
