What kind of medicine do you mean? Do you mean vitamins added to water? They aren't necessary if you are feeding the proper diet. And also, you have no way of knowing how much the bird is drinking.

As you may know my bird is not well so the vet gave him Baytrll oral he is a cockatiel.

I breed, Sun, Green Cheek, Black Capped and Crimson Bellied Conures. Also IRN's
If it is Baytril oral u give it with the dropper into the beak not the water.

I breed, Sun, Green Cheek, Black Capped and Crimson Bellied Conures. Also IRN's
I have never heard of giving baytril in the water. Is ur vet an avian vet? Also maybe u can call and ask them about it, maybe u heard the vet wrong or they miss spoke but u want the bird to get all the medicine and if u put it in the water u have no clue how much they r getting. Putting it in the water seems to be a waist to me.

I did not miss hear him but my bird is much better.
