I'm thinking mid to high 40's should be OK as long as there is no draft. What do you think?

Inside the house is a low 60's, so it is pretty cold already.

What could really happen? If the bird felt cold would she scream and let me know?

Living in New England,<CT>,the winter season can get darn mean. I keep my house at 65 degrees in the winter and my birds have never gotten cold.
Once or twice in the past years my furnace has crapped out to where the temp has fallen to high 40's to low 50's before the furnace could warm up the place again.
I have seen Amy and Smokey "fluff up" somewhat, but nothing ever became of it.
