He looks unwell. Please take him to another avian vet and get a second opinion. I am worried for him.

Welcome to the forums. I'm sorry to hear Luke is ill.

Parrots are known for hiding their illnesses, by the time they show the first symptoms they can be very sick. It sounds like your vet just did a basic physical exam. I agree with dragonlady2, I wouldn't wait, I would take Luke for a second opinion. If you trust your current vet, then I think I would insist the tests be done immediately. At home, I think I would confine Luke to his cage so he doesn't fall, keep him warm and watch him closely. Please let us know what you find out.

RIP Gandalf and Big Bird, you are missed.
Luke appears to be very uncomfortable with eyes half-closed and in an abnormal position.

Please consider asking the vet for a full blood workup and fecal analysis. As others have posted, by the time he looks unwell something has been wrong for a while. Luke will do best if he is cared for by an avian specialist.

Let us now how he is doing!

Agreed with everyone here. Im glad you took him in right away, but please take him to an AVIAN CERTIFIED vet ASAP and ask for bloodwork, gram stain, etc.

This looks incredibly serious!

That is the same body posture that Pecker had at the end. Too weak to stand or perch. Had trouble even lifting her head up.

She died of an intestinal tumor.

No hint of a health problem, until she suddenly went from a super active bird, to a bird who stopped eating, drinking, and started looking a lot like that.

It all happened very fast. Less than a week.

Agreed. Luke is quite possibly in grave danger. Without a gram stain or bloodwork, there are any number of things that could be wrong that even a vet's trained eye wouldn't see.

And as Allee pointed out, by the time a bird's sickness is this visible, they're often seriously ill. You should find an avian vet as soon as possible.
