So, I’m folding clothes & moving around the room.
I just got home from work & put Chubby in my room on my bed.
He had all his toys, it’s a good temperature, access to his food & water, the works.

I go to sit down & he bites my leg pretty hard, in a dominating way.

I got up, turned my back for a minute on him. He goes back to playing with his stuff.

I go to sit back on the bed & again he comes rushing over to investigate.
He bites me multiple times on the wrist pretty damn hard.
I get up & turn my back once again.

Then I left the room.

I’m in my kitchen eating & he’s screaming.
I go to the living room & where I here him once again doing that “mating behavior” with his ball.
Now, he is talking & whistling so much in the other room, things I’ve never even heard him say or whistle. lol Which is the funniest part about this whole experience.

I don’t understand.
Are we sure 100% it’s not mating season?
He’s 37 years old, ast puberty age.

Maybe he sees me as his mate now & tried to domineer me. I have no clue.
I didn’t do anything to upset him or offend him in anyway.
Are there just whole days Amazons are just acting out of character?
I thought after the other day’s incident maybe he’d be feeling better.

Would it be bad for us to spend the rest of our day in different rooms?

I did move his cage last night into the living room from my bedroom last night, but for the last 6-7 months he’s been in my bedroom.
Anyone have suggestions or insights?

Currently sitting on couch, desperately wanting to play with my baby but don’t know what to do.

I would take that ball away from him and put it away. Other than that I don't know much about handling Amazons.

Thank you. I’ll try that and see how it goes.
He’s way past puberty days too. He’s 37!

My YNA Bingo is about 39 and he has started acting hormonal in just the last week.

There are many things going on with him but him being mildly interested in mating is for me a sigh he is feeling well.

This last winter he was too sick to have a hormone season so better late than never I guess.

With Bingo he is kind of an all or nothing biter.
The trick is to see it in his eyes and the set of his beak and block the bite with anything that is at hand.
He has nailed me bad too many times and Because of meds that I am taking I don't want to take any chances getting a bad bite right now.

What is Chubby's diet like? How much of each component is he getting?
