I'm wondering what wild grasses and weeds, fruit, seed, leaves, are OK for conures to eat and play with.
I think I have bearded wheat and wild oats growing in one spot, then there's many other kinds of seeding plants, too. I know what some of them are, but not all.
Is there a list of these things? I am thinking it's a very good thing to find out, collect and let the birds have at it. Since it helps with foraging and surviving the wild. Cypher dives for them as soon as he sees those two plants. He'll also try to steal the grains from the chickens and the corn I was planting...he's a bit of a seed/grain HOG! He likes to chew on clovers, dandelion leaves and in general bite anything near him to see what it's about. Plants I know aren't safe for my livestock I don't let him go near, same with the ornamental plants we have.
