Hello,

Well after 3 monthes of owning my parrot he started whistling a week ago... He doesn't do it all the time but it is becoming more frequent, what is weird about it is that he only whistles when I am sitting with my back turned to him or when i am at home but he couldn't see me, but he sees my wife... So my question is

Is it that he is still bothered when i am around that's why he maybe prefers to stay unnoticed?

Thanks

It sounds more like he is trying to get some attention when you are available, but not giving him attention.

Mmm i see i am giving him attention but maybe not sufficiently... I'll try to give him more but don't want to be putting pressure on him. I mean i don't want him to stop whistling if he feels that since he started i am putting pressure...
