Charlie, Darwin, ...post a pic? might be easier if you post a pic. NOt for a bird but i like xavier, fugae (latin for flight), and of your suggestions i like peach, elvis and kasey

, oh i went to the bird store today, and i saw this beautiful slender-billed corella, sold but only $2700! I might have to save a little more to get it into my budget but he was the sweetest bird ever! The owner (reliable and nice) said they are more stable and independent than larger cockatoos. The sharp beak is kind of intimidating though..

My RB2 comes at the end of the month [ill post pictures then] So cool you got to see a slender bill [you should hear them talk !!!] OMG Ill try to find a video.iI have a lot of birds and let me tell what beaks are BAD. The African gray, the Amazon and the conures.Everyone else is not that bad believe it or not.

I'm glad to hear you say that you think the African grey is one of the birds that have a nasty bite. I certainly think so!! Quincy's bites can really really hurt!

Hi! I just picked up my rose breasted yesterday! We named him Nigel. We could not decide between Nigel and Duncan. My family LOVED the name Nigel so that is what we went with. I am going to type in every male name on our list, see if you like any of them. Congrats, we are having lots of fun with him! Cooper, Harvey, Vincent, Cooper, Eugene, Otis, Nelson, Milo, Maxwell, Elliott, Barry, Virgil, Walter, Arnie, Franklin, Gideon, Percy, Solomon, Dwight, Amos, Eddie, Martin, Seymor, Duncan, Nigel and my fav Owen.
We didn't use Owen because I had rescued a galah and wanted to call him Owen but he turned out to be very sick. My family then didn't think we should use it on the new baby.

LOL I just left the tab open! hahaha, I was doing stuff around the house so it said I was viewing until my computer went on standby.

Maybe it's just those particular grays, I've met so many with different personalities. One of my friends greys will step up for anyone and is really sweet, another is absolutely vicious and was rescued from a hoarder and a 6 foot pole has to be used to take her out of her cage or you'll look like someone beat you up and need stitches, then there's earnie who won't make a noise until she has seen you consistently for 2 weeks but is still ok with stepping up.

Even if you don't have the best start, it may develop into something great

I used to know a guy with the nickname Pinky, Shortened from his last name. Also Ricky or Eric. But Pinky would definately be appropriate

Terri - I think looking up the street name would be fun. Maybe it would make a great name. Looks like Copper has provided a lot of choices for you!

I agree names are very important. I always think long and hard for a name I really like. After all, it's like naming a human child. They will have it all there life and there life is just as long as a human!

My Quaker I had years ago was named Sydney.

I had the hardest time naming Boris, too. I could think of lots of cute names for females but not males.

I ended up going with Boris because my boyfriend jokingly suggested it and it stuck. My other finalist names were Rowan and Shiva.
