toxic fumes

i want to make craft jewelry for my friends, and my attempts keep failing. i though clay/playdough would be a good idea, but i dont know if it can release fumes or something. so, is it safe for my birds?

Hello, I am wondering about toxic plants. Is it dangerous for budgies if their cage is standing close to a toxic plant for example lilies? I know it´s very dangerous if the eat the toxic plants but how is it if they are in the same room that has toxic plants? Also I wonder if it´s dangerous...

I bought a sheet of clear plastic from the craft store in the fabric section. When the lady at the fabric counter went to cut it, I noticed (and she noticed!) it had a really strong smell, like rubber or chemicals or something. Really weird. Anyway, I had planned on putting it under Sunny's cage...
