1st Word

My pineapple green cheek conure, Pippin, just said his first word! I was handfeeding his last meal for the day and was putting him to bed when he clearly said "Night Night". I was very shocked and couldn't believe he said his 1st word at 6 weeks of age! He said it one more time before he went to bed.

It's amazing how smart these little creatures are! I would love to hear how your babies said their first word if any one would like to share.

Awwww, how sweet! Peeko started saying 'baby' at 7 weeks when I got him, but its much clearer now than it used to be of course!

Yogi is 5 months now and makes kiss noises, says "potty" and "love you baby". Its so cute when they talk! 6 weeks is very young to start talking. Congrats!

Aw, that is so sweet. My Gilbert just started too! He is older(8 months) but it was still very exciting to hear his first word.
Can't wait to hear what your bird's next words will be.

Token's first word was around 10 weeks, just a little after I got him. I would always kiss him on his head and say good boy. Well one day i kissed him and HE said good boy. Very cute. I think i was more impressed than when my kid talked.

Came in the door from work, and Bam said "Hello Baby". I think he would have been a few months old. It's still his favorite thing to say.
