I was finally able to charge my camcorder, and here are 2 short(ish) clips I just took of Ripley. :o

Please pardon the mess. :54: And yes, there IS a shower curtain hanging in my kitchen....It's supposed to prevent the big macs from constantly flying to the Amazons' cages. Niko already knows he can fly right though it.

they are private setting in youtube.

Same thing I did yesterday with Folger video!! Once you change the setting in youtube, the original links should work :)

Ripley is gorgeous!!! Love the shake to make sure the string of beads is dead and safe :)

and what do you mean there is no room left in the inn for another bird... I see a great spot to the left where another amazon cage would fit PERFECTLY.... besides that Java stand is way too small for just Ripley and Nikolai!!

BAHAHAHHA Jen!!!

Yes, the Amazons were on a roll as I was trying to tape. I took some videos of them, too. Will upload those as soon as all the birds are back in their cages.

You're right, I need an even bigger Java tree. :30: Heck, I tossed the kitchen table out of the kitchen just so I could fit those ginomous trees in there. What I'll do now is take a super short clip of my 'bird room', and then later you can tell me where you see room. :D

:09: :54: Wait... aren't you one of the people who said they don't take much room?? Who told me they could even live in the pantry!???

:o Yup, I sure did. I, however, don't even have a pantry. :10:

So, THIS is my "tiny" bird room. :30:

:11: Well for one, who needs a chair right next to the tv... what a waste of space...

the other thought, stacking cages.... I'll do some shopping for you now to see how big they come.. at this rate, you could probably fit 2 or 3 more birds... obviously stacking for macaws won't work... but Amazons, I think we could find something... then there is a cage to replace that chair no one ever sits in... so 2 extra large stacking cages and one for the chair space.. gotcha... will get to work on that order for you right now :)

and then who needs TV... you have the birds for entertainment... so maybe another macaw cage would fit there...

I am so glad you asked me for help with this!! :) :10:

and it was April who said an amazon could live in the pantry... I actually had to look it up to see who made that comment :)

OMG, I'm laughing so hard I can't breathe! (The chair next to the TV is my husband's TIME OUT chair ;) )

Thanks for the video's Wendy, your crew are beautiful!!!

Wendy, your videos are amazing!! The way you have the java stands set up is fantastic and looks like a birdie paradise. Ripley and those beads cracked me up:)
I can see your dilemma with room in the second video, but Jen has a lot of wonderful ideas to create more space! And when Alex needs a time out chair, he can just sit in the new cage.
Problem solved, now on to the next bird...

I was thinking he could sit outside when he needed a time out... right next to the tv?? What kind of punishment is that?? Its like sending a kid to their room, but they have a computer and computer games to play with....

But Terry has a really good thought... actually if we put an amazon there who has some nipping issues and that still has to be the timeout spot, that might help you eliminate your hubby's need for timeout altogether... tell me this is just not a win win all around!!??

Stunning birds your "big macs" are! I bet they keep you busy. Look like a pair of troublemakers to me;) But can you blame them, it's not as if you gave them your whole kitchen AND dining room or anything:D

I told you an amazon would enjoy living in a pantry:09: Do note, your food bill will double as soon as they discover the many new "foraging" options all around them;):D
If there was ever a cold-hardy nocturnal amazon discovered, it would probably enjoy refrigerator dwelling:eek:

Yes, April, finally someone who sees RIGHT through them. ;) They ARE troublemakers! And big ones, too. :11:

And thank you very much :)

Thank you for sharing these clips, Wendy! I never tire of watching your beautiful birds! Or the java tree setup they enjoy! (Just have to make sure Bixby isn't watching over my shoulder, wondering how he can get a cool pad like that! One day. But until then... ignorance is bliss, my friend!)

Aww he is so cute! and I love the play tree you have in the back!
