Hi everyone, Recently my husband and I just got a 2 year old blue quaker from a pet store who got her from a lady who fell ill and could not take care of her. The store had her to the vet and they said she is healthy other than she is under weight, she only weighs about 80grams. The lady who originally had her kept her on a seed only diet, and nothing else. We want to switch her to a pellet diet because I know that pellet is better for her. I am wondering how I go about switching her and what kind of pellet should I feed her? I have offered her fresh fruits and other random food and she seems open to trying new things. Is there any special kind of fresh fruit I should try giving her? Please any advise would be greatly appreciated.
She is a very sweet girl, and I'm only guessing she is a girl, she acts so Dainty. She seems to mimic kissing noise and likes to give kisses. I have only had her for 2 days and i'm sure she will come out of her shell some more.
