I'm not experienced in handfeeding baby birds, but that looks like begging for food to me. I'm sure someone here will know for sure.

Looks like typical feeding behavior to me.:green2:

3....2....1....FREAK OUT! Well, thats what it looked like to me anyway ;)

He is trying to feed in the first picture. Are you hand feeding him? Because he's not weaned...

Oops your first post says you're hand feeding....maybe sure you're feeding him enough...

He looks fine to me .Keep handfeeding and offer soft foods ,fruits and vegs .Try to not let him grab onto your finger like that [That turns into a hard nip] Even though their playing its not fun. What a little sweethart though :)

Also ,Ive always been told put your birds [out time ] on a realistic schedule you can keep up with . Like if you only have a few minutes in the morning ,thats what you do .This teaches them its ok to go back in their cage cause they know their coming out later.

thanks for all. I feed him 3 times in the day about 15-20 cc .even after feeding him he seems Hungary and want to eat more even if it was my finger .I dont give him my finger to bite I just show u in the video what he do after feeding every time he grap my fingers even when I try cuddle him .I didn't transfer him into a cage yet I still keep him in an aquarium with a lamp over it to keep him warm . should I put him in a cage now ?

Looks like normal feeding response to me..... I like to set up a perch in the tank first so they get comfortable perching..This way they can rest on the bottom if they get tired and if they fall they don't get hurt..

Good idea with the perch in the tank. This bird is young isnt it? You should carefully feed him until he refuses.

If he's still acting hungry, you should try to feed him more.. As was said.. Be careful.. Very careful...
I just started feeding a caique..and man does she eat more than that..

But that's a caique..

I have never hand fed a small bird... But when I was hand feeding my macaws and amazons they always had a feeding response even if there crop was full.. Remember If you overfill the crop you could stretch it which could cause issues later on and there is a chance the bird could regurgitate and aspirate..

As long as there is food in the crop the bird should not be hungry...
