90 long days

You may have to use Photobucket to put some more up, I know the album only holds so many, depending on the size of the pictures.

Good boy, Wingnut! We're all thinking positive thoughts for you!

That sounds like positive news!!! Sending good vibes to Wingnut!!!! I'll be waiting on tip toes for the good results to come out of all this. :)

So happy for you and Wingnut! hoping for the best news ever!

That sound great!! Good job Wingnut.

I've thought and prayed about you two a lot. Please keep us updated.

Thank you so much everyone! Wingnut sends his love to you all!

I have a soft spot for you and Wingnut's situation because of we share some experiences. Thank you so much for updating us with Wingnut's condition. It sounds really optimistic with the comments on feather health and general health with normal development. I am VERY happy and am smiling very much with reading your posts about Wingnut.

Can't wait for you to upload updated pictures of that boy.

That is just the best news!!!! What did I tell you... didn't make sense to me!

CAN I SAY I TOLD YOU SO NOW?! By the way WINGNUT is the perfect macaw name... It just fits!

Haha! Please tell me a million times that you told me so!!! We are so happy!

I am so happy for you!!! I absolutely know how that feels. My cat was seriously sick a few months ago, and I mean not even eating. When we went to the vet and when I found out she was okay I just about cried with happiness! That is great news!

Ugh. I can't believe this. I didn't hear anything from the vets office all week, so I called this morning. I was met with the usual coldness, and asked to spell my last name (which is undeniably a tricky one) several times. My cell number was confirmed, and the receptionist informed me that someone would call me back......and no one did.

So I just called back, and the vet tech answered the phone. I spelled my last name again, and she knew I was inquiring about Wingnut. "The test results are in" , she told me, but "the doctor will have to call you and discuss them tomorrow."

As you can imagine, this has filled me with dread. Why would she not tell me what the result was (unless it was negative), and if the doctor needs to talk to me about it...... I just don't know what to think.

Don't panic yet, Michele...they probably have a policy that only the vet can give out any info, my doctor is like that and it scares me to death every time.
I think that everything is going to be okay, and sending up extra prayers for you and Wingnut tonight.
How absolutely irritating to have to wait til tomorrow after waiting so long:(

Terry is absolutely right, Michele.
Many places have similar policies in place to protect the doctors/veterinarians from lawsuits and such. (Not to mention that it makes financial sense for them as well since you have to pay for yet another visit.) Try not to drive yourself crazy by "borrowing trouble".
Go play with your fids. Enjoy them. Lose yourself in their silly antics. Tomorrow will take care of itself, Michele. But in the meantime, enjoy your time with your fids today.

Thanks guys. I just want it to be over already. I want to hear that he's OK. I want to feel that relief, so that the only thing I will have to worry about is not squeezing him too hard cause I'm so happy.

Michele, I know how hard it is to wait when you're worried. Please just love and enjoy your fids like usual tonight, and however you can, do something to keep busy to keep your mind from going there as much as you can. Hang in there Michele! Hugs.

When I took my guys in for a routine checkup they still wouldn't give me the results. I had to wait for the doc to call. I know it's tough, but take a deep breath. We're all rooting for you and Wingnut.

I was hoping these posts were from yesterday so I wouldn't hafta wait like everyone else!

"Wingnut" is such an awesome name, btw. I'm crossing my fingers for good news for you and your baby.
