A Care Package For Coqui

I made a few toys for Coqui and we sent her a care package. The kids also colored and drew her a few pictures. Pictures below. Enjoy!

No, no excitement at all. LOL!

I already received videos from Linda and Coqui and Coqui was playing with them in a matter of minutes. So they were a hit!

They loved the pictures from the kids, too!

It's been great sharing this with the forum and especially with you Wendy!

Well Blanca, the toys are still a big hit. The colored plastic toy with bell was "de-clanked" the first day. And the green and orang plastic with the ribbed discs seem to be a favorite and she pulls little pieces of them off each day.
The pictures are priceless!! I think Luis has benefitted from them the most. How do you learn to trust someone from the Internet to entrust your mothers bird to? Have their children draw loving pictures of the bird and send them with toys!! I could not have asked for a better outcome ... Coqui loves the toys and Luis' heart is yet even more at peace when he opened the box.

LOL Linda! I knew she would do that to the bell! It was the biggest one I had at the time. I hope to get some larger ones that are less destructible! LOL! I think I know which plastic part you are talking about. You will have to show me when I visit, so I can be sure to get more!

I can totally see where Luis is coming from. He doesn't know me from atom. But I am so glad the he can see our gift was sincere and heartfelt. I'm glad that we have made him feel more comfortable with this transition! I want him to be happy with his choice and feel confident that Coqui is going to a great place. We are truly excited to make Coqui a true member of our family. Our birds are not pets they are family members! We are all excited and yes....even my husband!

We do plan on bringing another care package when we visit on the 20th! Let me know if Coqui has any special requests.

Just so you know, the care package was a family project! Quincy & Savannah shared some toy parts, I made the toys, the kids drew the pictures and Brad mailed the package! And no need to thank me, we were ALL happy to do it!
