Hi guys!! After 2 years of loosing my sun conure Im looking for another conure!! Preferably a blue crown or even a haha's macaw! Something of this size. A bit on the medium large side but not too small. I also Love the "velcro" bird personality as it mixes very well with my own(: I CANNOT find any in my area for the life of me!! I've had a deposit sitting in my bank for a year trying to find the perfect baby.

I'm not asking anyone to give up their baby but more of assistance finding a baby or rehoming a feathered butt in need. Thanks for your time!!(:

Too bad you live down in New Mexico. Have a Han's Macaw that came in a few weeks back that needs a home. Very Sweet and actually talking.
Also Have a Caped Amazon That needs a home.

I got my Senegal at a bird show 4 years ago and I know Senegals aren't conure but she is very playful- Quiet (At times- Not as loud as a Sun Conure - Actually Whistles xD) VERY Snuggly. If you still want a conure I suggest looking up local breeders and upcoming bird shows. (Preferably Handfed) Sometimes Birds come up on Craigslist due to moving away or family can no longer care for them. But if you are stuck on the idea of a baby my best bet is to find a local breeder or bird show. Hope this helps.

Nope not stuck on a baby at all!! I'm very open to adopting!((: I am very fond of the cuddly trait! lol just melts my heart. and from my research i've found that most senegals aren't the snuggly type?? kinda why i've shied away from the species. would you say you got lucky with a snuggly senegal?

Now as far as craigslist goes I've stopped looking because the babies that are on there are either much too large for what I'm able to accommodate right now(large macaw etc) or a lot of amazons which i'm not entirely sure i could handle with my experience lol it also depresses me)):

There is a black capped conure and a caique in nearby Texas up for adoption.

A black cap is a little on the small side for my preference(: I know they have great personality but I'm more of a heavy set bird type hehe
