I got Kumar a new jungle gym the other day, and at first he was mortified by it, but after a few day curiosity got the better of him, and now he feels super important being even higher up. It makes him want to hang out on top of his cage again :), something he hasn't done since he became flighted. I got it at the local mom & daughter bird store. The first one I got was a java stand beaut he hated it so I took it back. This one fits the bill. And he's got another piece of furniture to chew that's not mine lol:D
Now I just have to pimp it out with lots of toys haha

Rio has one of those blue hanging ball with the bell inside too. She loves hanging from it and swinging around. Where did you find the gym.

looks great! what was wrong with the java tree? i would loooove to get one of them for cooper :)

I found the gym at the pet store, but the brand is acrobird. It's all pine wood and very sturdy :)
@mr. Googls...he didn't like the java tree because the branches were too thick and slippery, and to wrap them in rope (for traction) would have been counter-productive because I wanted something easy to clean. Personally I would have preferred the java tree because it was truly a work of art but he wouldn't go near it even after several weeks. He took to this one in a few days. :)

ahhh i see, it was more him being picky more than you :) that would be my problem with cooper too, a lot of java trees are meant for big birds.
