Acting very afraid????

First and foremost I have never hurty Pilot, so I don't know what's going on.
I try to clean her cage at least once a week, and while doing so she typically just chills in my room and watches me do my thing, and that's what I'm doing right now, is cleaning her cage, and I went over to my dresser where she was sitting and watching me, and when I went over there she freaked out and started flying around my room and is now sitting on a hat that is on top of my pig skull, on my other dresser (its higher up) and shes kinda just watching me, I don't know if I did something wrong or if it's something else, but it worries me, because she only really did this when I first got her. And I know that no one has done anything to her because no one has been in here this morning, and my grandparents don't mess with her besides coming in and talking to her occasionally. She started flying around my room again and is now sitting on top of my laundry basket, is this something I should worry about or is it normal?

Have you changed anything with your appearance? Hair, jewelry, makeup, clothes etc. it’s possible it has nothing to do with you. Something else may have spooked her or she’s just feeling on edge today. Birds have moods like we do. Don’t worry too much unless the behavior continues. Most likely she will settle down eventually if you just let her be.

I have not changed anything with my apperance, she just seems very guarded and standoff-ish at the moment, and it just worried me.

It’s always good to pay attention when our feathered friends are acting differently. Hopefully Pilot will be her usual cute self tomorrow

An update on pilot, she seems to be fine now, she started chirping at me early this morning, and so I let her out of her cage which lead to her sitting on my shoulder and chirping in my ear. She did that for like 20 minutes, then flew around my room for a bit, and eventually went back to her cage on her own, so I think she was just grumpy yesterday.
