By next week I'll be adding another baby to my flock of one. I ordered a great cage through PetCo, so once it arrives I'll go pick up my new family member. The problem is that I'm not quite sure which one to get. Here are my choices:
Dusky conure, hatch date: 3/12/12. Very friendly and already steps up!
Gold capped conure: hatch date 6/13/12. Very shy. Just arrived at the store on 9/28. He freaked out when the employee tried to get him out of his cage, so I haven't been able to hold him yet. He's already very beautiful with lots of brilliant colored feathers coming through!
I already have one dusky, which I love to pieces. Should I go with the friendly one, or take the new baby who doesn't seem to have been socialized very much yet.
Beauty vs personality at this point. LOL!
