airplane tips please!

I would call them to find out. We had to have Piccolo go through quarantine, etc. because we were coming to Hawaii from Wa. Hawaii has extra strict guidelines to prevent disease. If you are flying just on the mainland no quarantine is involved. I am not sure about the health certificate, others may be able to tell you. Each airline seems to have their own set of rules too.

ok thank you very much!

I tried to take my Budgie on American and they don't take birds so make sure you call and ask before making reservations.
ok we just called them..... they said NO. idk what to do, Delta is super expensive....help!😩

You may just have to pay the expense to Delta. Its not easy to find an airline that takes birds in the cabin. I think the difficulty is partly because people abused the privilege of bringing their emotional support animals in the cabin for free or cheap, creating a situation of chaos in the cabin. Too many people who just wanted to bring their pets on vacation with them claimed they were emotional support animals. A law was enacted a few years ago that allowed airlines to refuse emotional support animals in the cabin, ruining it for people who had real emotional support animals. In addition, experiences with some parrots' epic screaming in the cabin likely caused some airlines to ban carry on birds. You have to admit that even though we love parrots, it would be awful for most people to
sit in a plane with a screaming parrot under someone's seat while you're trying to relax and enjoy the flight.

I'd like the same charges applied to children. Especially those with a casually full diaper!

No kidding! But that's so politically incorrect to not love being around people's kids. At Lowes where we work I'd rather people bring in their dogs than their kids- at least the dogs are on leashes and better behaved.

Yes, that is true. So we are going on Delta. It's more expensive, but there's no way anyone will convince me to get rid of my baby, lol. So yeah, I'm flying from Chattanooga, and I hope that the private screening rooms have a closed top instead of open, or Pebbles might try to fly out! I would panic, so I hope not.
