I still would not trust Amigo out of a cage with her. She got her usual nippy with me and Amigo got upset, he did not like his woman, (me),getting picked on!

LOL, I can definitely relate to that!!!

adorable! amigo is so sweet looking out for his mommy!

When I put Amigo back outside, you would not believe the ruckus! They yelled back and forth for at least an hour. I'm not sure what their conversation was about but I'll take a guess that it was interesting!

lol i bet it was. sometimes you gota wonder what they say :)

Glad they finally met! Thanks for the comparison, was always wondering how much they differed in size...

Great pics, they are adorable!
I always love seeing pics of Amigo, don't tell Sassy.lol

They are gorgeous Mare !! Love the pic of the sun rising with Amigo.
I was actually holding my breath when I saw the pic of Amigo and Sassy touching beaks !!
Wow , that is something ! But I agree , keeping them apart is best .
IMO , Amigo was getting angry at Sassy for nipping you !! He did not like your reaction when she bit you !
It's always a treat to see pics of both your birds :)

How sweet! They are beautiful! :D

Im glad their doing well together :D Love seeing pics of them. Rome tried feeding Rocco some of her hybicus flower when he dropped his, wasnt able to take a pic. I know what you mean about the size difference. You get so used to a large bird its so different to have a little one.

The pic of Sassy and Amigo is distorted, in a way. When I first brought Sassy home, what surprised me most was how tiny her feet were, compared to Amigo's. I had never been around a goffin's too before this. He has huge, very strong, death grip feet. Sassy's are petite and not threatening in any way, not even her nails. I suppose after a male U2 being your first bird,,,ANYTHING else might seem non-threatening!

I haven't attempted bring Dixie to see Java because I don't trust Java at all, even in his cage. He's tried to attack other birds that gets too near his cage before. I freaked out one day when one of the babies flew on top of his cage and I quickly retrieved the baby before Java got ahold of their feet which he was moving in for the kill very quickly.

Mare,

IF you remember the time I got Java from a lady that was giving him away because of her husband's health and then drama broke loose on her end with divorce and all. Come to find out Java used to be named Louie, which belongs to a friend of my friend. Who's a friend of mine now...lol...Java was a rescue and it seems like Java been acting his way with every person he goes to. He will destroy your home and chew up everything and attack you IF you deny him anything. So I dunno IF I can ever make him stop as this been going on for at least 10 years and come to find out, Java might be older then what I was told which I was told he was 10 at the time which makes him 11 now but he's more like 13 or so. He has a long reckless history and a big time plucker, he stopped plucking for me thank goodness and grew all his feathers back....He remember him when he came to visit the other day, BUT I knew Java loves me more as he leaves him and came to the other side using his foot telling me to come here as he wants me instead. He did this when his last lady owner was here as well. I am trouble with a decision that I am unsure of....I was going to rehome Java as the last time he attacked me, he damaged my thumb nail when he bit through which is starting to grow out, but in a weird shape...So he adds another scar on me for life along with other scars on my arms and hands, but he prefers me....Sorry to ramble on in your post, I just wish my Java isn't so troubled and be more like Amigo....
