House everyone. I joined here in August and posted about my new ducorps cockatoo. Unfortunately it just didn't work out with him, he had been previously owned by a male and his son for 5 years and hadn't been around a female ever. He wouldn't take to me or my mum at all and he seemed really unhappy, as much as I tried my best to help him settle in, it was obvious that him being in my house was causing him stress. So I made the decision to return him to where I got him from, he was then immediately re-homed with a lovely man and is doing brilliantly.
I immediately fell in love with a 13 week old salmon crested cockatoo. He has been with me ever since. He's the cutest little ball of feathers I've ever seen and is so friendly and loves to be stroked. I named him Murphy, He's part of the furniture, I can't imagine my life without him!
I thought I'd give a quick update to you all and thank you for all the posts I've read that have helped me massively!
