Angel-Bangel is Bored!

Since I've taken away her cardboard boxes that she loved so much, due to some nesting behavior, my Umbrella 'Too seems to be very, very bored. When she's out with me, she's perfectly happy, and since I've been home sick this week, she's literally been in birdie wonderland. But, alas, I wont be sick forever, and I have to go to school, so does anyone have any ideas on homemade toys for her? Just quick fixes, things to keep her bright little mind occupied. I've spend tons of money on those shreddable palm leaf toys, and soft woods, but I don't want to dish out money on things I'm sure can be made at home. She does NOT like anything that she cant destroy, I've learned, ahahaha!

Instead of large boxes, give her smaller ones.....cereal boxes, etc.....heck, it's just shredded cardboard.....easily swept or vacuumed (with a shop-vac, home units might get clogged).....

Oh, messes are normal in my home. I sweep at least three times a day, because the little princess and her loyal servants, AKA every other bird in my house, decide that their food does not meet their standards, aahahaha. Cereal boxes may not be a bad idea, just as long as she's not able to fit in them. (which I doubt she would)

What about stringing cardboard pieces together? Got a phone book you never use? Put the pages through the cage bars!
