Any guesses on Baby Budgie's gender?

Hi, I am new to the forum and just got a new baby. Any guesses as to if it's a boy or girl? Asl, do you quarantine your new birdie and if so for how long? Thanks in advance!! (Follow the link for pics)

Judging by the cere it looks to be a boy but looks can be deceiving, How old is it?

2 months. That's my guess at the moment too.

It’s hard to tell at that age but the male’s cere turns bright blue when he matures, while the female’s cere turns brown or tan.

The generally accepted quarantine duration is 30 days. There can be exceptions for specific highly trusted situations, like a bird coming from a single-bird home. Better safe than sorry!

Welcome to the forum. Kind of hard to tell in the picture but normally male budgies have a blue cere.
