I don't expect to win but...

This was the first (and so far only) time Luna flew and landed on the boing.
Becuse it is in the entry way it had to be shortened with a zip tie or we would be hitting our head every time we go in/out of the house. That's why it looks off kilter.

A new experience: Kermit’s first outdoor hike!

Love this! Absolutely beautiful! Kermit is obviously enjoying his outdoor excursion! So cool, relaxed and at ease about the whole thing...




...unlike Maya was her first time out! Lol! If sheer panic had a face, this would be it! Just for fun!

And here she was after around 15 minutes when it finally hit that she might survive her encounter with the outdoors. Lol!

Golly Stephen...Maya is just sooooo gorgeous! Wow!

Don't you just love it when your bird FINALLY decides to use the toy that you got for them? I felt the same way when Jolly first flew to the boing sphere I'd hung up MONTHS before in the family room! All things in their own time, eh?

Thanks, Jim! After the incident where a bunch of her pin feathers inexplicably came out all at once, she's begun plucking at any new feather that comes in. But I'm working to get her back to where she was in that pic. (Though she's still my gorgeous girl no matter what.) Wish us luck!

Kise's new playground really is impressive- great way of using an existing item (daybedframe) and make it into parrotwonderland- love it!

Unfortunately no pictures from me- so you have to use your imagination
Japie did a serious regurge attempt to flirt with Appie this evening.
at the same time:
She tried to beg some scritches from him (so they are still not on the same page) ...
They are soooo clumsy (and cute) about it.

Usually Appie is about the 'give me the food, any food' but somehow she decided to try something different, while Japie usually does not understand or act on her "feed me NOW!" demands.
Now he was trying to feed her ...
(you could see it in his eyes: "Women, I will *never* understand them!" )

Cairo thought the gates of heaven opened when I broke the glass lid of his treat jar. My partner quickly 3D-printed a new lid with a tongue-in-cheek message.

Not sure Cairo is happy with the new rules....

A brand new foraging box to explore! Matey is a real beauty!
