Really what the title says. I wanna know what sex combination of the birds to get. I know that females tend to be quiet, while males are chatty, that's why I want both.

I have a male and female that have lived together for over 2 years.
Not all birds will be compatible however, even if they are the opposite sex.
If you don’t want chicks it’s very important that you don’t give them anywhere to nest.
I’ve seen people keep two males birds together as well but keeping two female together wouldn’t be a good idea.

Yup yup, knew the stuff about nesting, no huts, boxes or tight spaces. And thank you a bunch! Girls are more territorial right? So two of them would fight often huh? Will get a male and female pair as planned tho.

Yeah I imagine two females wouldn’t get along.
Females in many species tend to be territorial to one another.
My pair will bicker for a few seconds but they’ve never hurt each other.
