Are papaya seeds safe ?

I managed to get a papaya at the shops, I was just wondering are the seeds safe ?

I think so; I know people eat them and they’re said to be peppery.

Yes they're safe but don't feed him but a few because I've read too many can upset their stomachs.

Good point! Papaya has an enzyme called papain which digests foods and maybe irritates mucosa.
