- Pico, gender unknown, is a hand-fed Yellow Sided Green Cheek Conure, born 2015.
My YS Green Cheek talks pretty well ... when he wants to.
He says a few things, but I've been told, and have read, that two of the things he says are said by other conures.
Someone told me all conures say the second term.
1. Gimme a kisssssss.
2. beebee
Of course they are not pronounced as clearly as an African Gray could pronounce them, but after I learned the conure "accent" it's quite clear this is what he's saying.
So, my question to all conure parronts:
Does your conure say beebee and Gimee a kisssss?
If in fact all conures say these 2 things then it is the bird that has taught ME to say them. :33:
