Artificial Lighting (fake sun lights) and birds

I live in a flat with a window which gets no sun. How do I remedy this for my birds? Do I use a full spectrum light/UV as one would to grow plants or keep a pet reptile healthy?

Do you know what it is? High pressure Sodium? Halogen?
